With over 100 amateur fights and seven national titles under my belt, I have honed my skills both in the ring and as a coach over the past eight years. Specializing in boxing, I am dedicated to transforming individuals, whether they are newcomers to exercise or seasoned athletes, into confident and well- rounded performers. Whether it’s one-on-one boxing sessions or strength and conditioning training, I am committed to helping individuals achieve their fitness goals


Roland Khounlivong

With over 15 years of experience in Martial Arts, I bring a positive attitude and passion for Wellness. Having trained globally, from Las Vegas to Paris, Bangkok, and Tokyo, with world-class athletes in Thai Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts, I offer a unique perspective. My training style focuses on Functional Movement and Strength and Conditioning.


Oriance Lungu

Ori, with over 10 years in boxing and kickboxing, started as the English Universities Series Winner, joining Haringey Boxing Club, and becoming a 2x Haringey Box Cup Winner. She represented England, earned a black belt in kickboxing, and won National Novice and Elite Champion titles. A devoted coach, Ori teaches fitness enthusiasts, regional and national champions, and beginners, focusing on proper technique. She views boxing as fun, therapeutic, and a way to stay fit, make friends, and handle life’s challenges. Her classes cater to everyone, from aspiring fighters to fitness enthusiasts and ABA boxers, offering skill development, strength, and stamina training.


Mark Surge

Mark, a former pro Muay Thai fighter turned coach, boasts extensive experience since 2007. He trained at K.O Gym London, Perun Gym, and Team Nasser. Actively involved in MMA, he’s a cuts man for events like Cage Warriors and Balloter. Retiring in 2017 after 25+ fights, Mark, an I.S.K.A Southern Area champion, now excels as a registered Pro Boxing coach (BBBofC) and trains fighters internationally. His unique perspective, blending a fighter’s background with coaching, ensures top-notch sessions at every level.


Professor Paxton

Balance BJJ Head Instructor Paxton is a Second Degree Black Belt under 10 times World BJJ Champion Roger Gracie. After 11 years Paxton was honoured to be given permission by Roger to open his own RGA affiliated academy in Henley on Thames. BALANCE BJJ has been a growing ambition in Paxton’s mind for the last few years. He identified a need for a BJJ Academy with a difference. One with the highest standard of quality and commitment running through.


Ali Mbow

Ali is a devoted Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and instructor with a journey spanning over 8 years in the art. He was awarded his Brown Belt by Roger Gracie and continues to train under him at his HQ academy in Hammersmith.
With a real passion for sharing the knowledge he’s attained, Ali deeply enjoys witnessing the transformation of novices into confident practitioners, guiding them through the early stages of their BJJ journey.

Matt, an Osteopath from London (2006-2010), delved into yoga during his training, realizing its impact on mindful movement and healing. His journey includes studying Zen philosophy, Ashtanga Yoga in Mysore, Thai Massage in Thailand, and meditation in Nepal. His passion led him to train under Sri Dharma Mittra in New York City, focusing on advanced postures, breathing, and meditation. With a 500hr Yoga Teacher Training, Matt has taught extensively worldwide, incorporating the physical vinyasa flow of Sri Dharma Mittra into his classes. Playful, strong, and tailored, his sessions aim to develop mindful movement practices for both the mind and body.

In Joe’s open-level Vinyasa class, expect supportive and engaging guidance through postures with clear breath-by-breath instructions.
